Electrical Supervisor – Permanant – Siler City, NC – $100,000 - $ 110,000

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor in Siler City, NC.

Role Description

• Leads a team of electrical technicians and/or electricians charged with maintaining critical electrical systems on the site.• Manages the team to develop & hit key metrics to measure & improve performance.• Drives a culture of safety and quality.• Support and influence 5S methodology, ensuring the workplace is clean, uncluttered, safe and well organized to reduce waste and optimize productivity.• Partners with Operations and Engineering to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site.• Plays a key role in the installation and commissioning of assigned systems.• Develop procedures for maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical systems and components.• Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and practices. Skills & Requirements
• Current state electrical license/ certification and a Highschool degree, GED, or equivalent• 5+ years of applicable experience directly managing / supervising a team of skilled electrical technicians / electricians in an industrial setting.• An extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems and advance troubleshooting capability• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers & vendors in support of electrical systems maintenance and repairs.• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and design documents, which includes maintaining instrument as-built documentation• Proficiency with computers and software to include Microsoft Office suite of products, SCADA, and CMMS applications.• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, at heights and confined spaces, around machinery and moving parts• Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, includes standing or walking over hard concrete surface, and climbing ladders.
