Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our Peri-operative team. As an RN in CVOR setting you will collaborate with other members of the health care team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs.

What you will do in this role

Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situationFoster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patientsAssess and monitor patients’ medical status while in the ORAssess patient’s condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing careEnsure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipmentKeep the operating room sterilizedReview charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocolsCommunicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is requiredMinimum of 2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferredBSN is preferredBLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) requiredCNOR preferred

Other services that we provide include orthopedic and spine care, as well as robotic surgery. We offer acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.
