Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic ICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner

In this role you will

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situationAdvocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary teamUse clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectivelyMonitor critical vital signs enabling intervention of life threatening situationsEducate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

What qualifications you will need

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is requiredAssociate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma1 year previous RN critical care experience required. CCRN and recent ICU/PCU experience strongly preferredBLS must be obtained prior to employment start dateNIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start dateAdvanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County.
