Seeking a Histology Laboratory Assistant to provide expertise and champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

You Will:Perform specimen processing duties on assigned shifts under the supervision of a histology technologist and direction of the department supervisor or managerSpecimen pick-up, order entry, assisting with gross tissue handling, slide and block filing, sorting and discarding of specimens, preparation and tracking of samples for referral to external laboratoriesSupport the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

You Should Have:A High School or GED1-3 years in a clinical laboratory settingLab Assistant experience preferred
