Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Fuels Quality Assurance Program Manager, we'll count on you to:

Serve as member of project team that assists in development of project-specific Quality Management Plans and works in close cooperation with the Project Manager and Task Leads for monitoring and oversight of project quality activitiesWork with Program/Project Managers to assess and incorporate lessons learned and client feedback from project reviews and client meetingsReport production risk areas to the Program/Project Manager and Regional Quality DirectorVerify adequacy of internal quality reviewsMonitor implementation of company standards and practices as appropriateManage quality deliverable schedule, and ensure coordination between design discipline reviewsManage design review and comment resolution process (schedule meetings with reviewers, negotiate mutually acceptable resolutions, escalate disputed issues, and track open comments to closure)Provide mentoring through regularly scheduled conformance reviewsReview the coordinated work of Engineers working of Fuels project with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and participate in the marketing, design, and production meetings with regard to fuels systemsProvide mechanical design on projects as requestedParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceAssist in proposal responsesCoordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedulePerform project inspections as available and/or requiredPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years in similar consulting industry and a minimum of 5 years in specific technical area coveredDeep understanding of QMS fundamentalsProven skills in the areas of Project Management and/or Quality Management projectsStrong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience and project QM software systemsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringA minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings.Professional Engineering (PE) LicenseStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.Demonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination and project management experience.Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
