Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Design Planner 2, we'll count on you to:

Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings Prepare drawings and specification documents Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials Understanding of healthcare trends. Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives. Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning. Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldA minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industryStrong organizational skillsUnderstanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and modelsDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexibleKnowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildingsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Architecture Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam) Architectural registration Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health Planning Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.) Must be willing to travel
