Cardio-Thoracic Surgery - Per Diem - Physician Assistant at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ
Banner University Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant to provide support to our Cardiothoracic Surgeons and team. This PA professional will be assisting CT surgeons in the OR setting in a first assistant or second assist capacity. Position requires working closely with Surgeons/Residents/Fellows and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. You will also need to work independently to maintain patient flow efficiency.
Position Details
Per DiemExperience with EVH is preferred. Predominantly in the OR taking conduit (vein, radial arteries), helping with prepping, draping, opening, closing, and transitioning patient safely to the ICU & other perioperative careOR call, including transplant.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years CT Surgery/OR experience required (first assist experience is preferred)Current Board CertificationCurrent Arizona LicenseCurrent CPR, BLS, and ACLS.Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
