Certified Medical Assistant

About The Opportunity:We're seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a one-on-one care environment!

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties:Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, and perform basic laboratory tests.Take patient vitals like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.Administer medications under the direction of a physician.Administrative Duties:Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.Update and file medical records and insurance reports.Handle patient calls, providing information and assistance.Maintain patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.Personalized Care:Provide personalized attention to patients, understanding their preferences and history.Coordinate special requests or needs with the concierge medical team.Communication:Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians, ensuring clarity and understanding.Relay patient concerns, questions, and feedback to the physician.Continuous Learning:Stay updated on medical procedures, terminology, and advancements.Participate in workshops, seminars, and training as required.Qualifications:Completed a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited institution.Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred.Previous experience in a concierge or personalized medical setting is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software.Flexibility in work hours, as some evening or weekend shifts may be required.What We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits package.An opportunity to be part of a team that emphasizes personalized, patient-centered care.Continuous learning and development opportunities.Interested candidates are invited to send their resume and a brief cover letter to info@healthmeetswellness.com.
