HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is actively seeking a Physician, Internal Medicine to join a leading eating disorder recovery community with nationwide locations and a virtual program. This remote role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing comprehensive medical care to individuals undergoing treatment for eating disorders in California.
Responsibilities:will conduct initial history and physical assessments remotely upon admission for clients within 24 hours.will review all labs, and EKGs, and manage medications, particularly focusing on diabetes care.will meet with new admissions within 24 hours and engage in weekly client meetings.will address nursing emergencies on a PRN basis and communicate with the team via phone, text, email, and document management in Aura (EMR).will review client charts and labs as needed.
The Physician, Internal Medicine will collaborate with onsite personnel to attend to new admissions within 24 hours and is encouraged to schedule weekly meetings with clients. Virtual visits will be arranged flexibly and based on availability. The ability to accommodate clients' needs is essential.
Qualifications:degree with American Board Certified in Internal Medicine.medical license to practice in California.practice record in National Practitioner Data Bank, NPDBproviding care within a remote/virtual capacitymanaging diabetes and overseeing medical care outside of the mental health realm.communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.with electronic medical records systems, preferably Aura (EMR).
