We are seeking a highly skilled Design/Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Scientific or Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in medical or automotive design and/or systems engineering, with experience in risk management/FMEA being a benefit.

What You’ll Do:Participates in, and at times, lead projects involving the design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of medical devices and other healthcare-related instruments, including subassemblies, systems, or processesAnalyzes, develops, and recommends design approaches required to meet design and production requirements for new, modified, or enhanced instrumentsProvide technical support to other Healthmark functional areas, including Business Development, Quality, R&D, and ManufacturingCompiles and evaluates design and test data, prepares technical specifications, and determines appropriate limits and variables for product/material specificationsIn-step with Quality, Design Engineer analyzes product requirements and other technical specifications to determine if product is performing to requirements; this includes performing risk analysis activitiesAchieve best practices that meet medical device industry standard, including design control and documentationResponsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Healthmark QMS

About You:Proficiency in technical documentation and oral and written communication skills2+ years in medical or automotive design and/or systems engineering, experience with risk management/FMEA a benefitFamiliar with regulatory requirements for the medical device industry, particularly working experience in design controlCapable of effectively interfacing with cross-functional team members in achieving common goalsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyGood organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at onceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Scientific or Engineering Field, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or BiomedicalIf you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for design and systems engineering, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
