The Safety & Training Partner is responsible for administrating safety & training classes and to partner with business units toensure a safe and fully compliant workforce for the company.

Responsibilities

Implements safety and training programs, curriculum, and objectives.Trains and coaches new hire employees, managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.Conduct uniform safety & training programs for all Heath personnel across all business units and departments using effective safety & training materials and formats.Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.Regularlyutilizes a central repository of Heath Training and Operator Qualification records to include, but not limited to, MEA, ITS, Veriforce, and others as dictated by management, customers, or State and Federal regulations.Conduct in person and virtual touchpoints to help coach, mentor, and support employee’s growth and culture as well as ensure company operations and locations are following applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Work with local management to develop corrective action plans addressing any identified deficiencies. Follow up to ensure resolution.Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.Regular communication with all business units to ensure effective training delivery.Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the P&C staff.Perform other duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required,4-year college degree Preferred.Three (3) to five (5) years of utility industry experience is preferred with utility operations experience, management, or equivalent.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Power-point, Excel and Word.Must have the ability to learn a variety of software and computer systems as defined within the Scope of Work (SOW) of our clients and those of Heath (Dig-Tracks, Leak Tracker, GSA/mapping systems, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to perform the essential functions of this job.Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, continuously carry equipment that weighs between 7 and 10 pounds and be considered in physical condition to walk continuously for an 8-hour period of time while traversing a variation of terrain.Position may travel up to 50% of the time, depending on the needs of each region.This role is eligible for a monthly Car Allowance, Bonus Potential, along with the listed base salary
