Job Summary
Heitmeyer’s specialized insurance client is enhancing their underwriting processes through automation and is seeking a Product Manager to join the effort. The ideal candidate will sit in either Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio. Expectation to be on-site 2 days a week in a hybrid model. Opportunity to convert to FTE in 6-months contingent upon performance.
Job Description
Key responsibilities will include creating solutions and reviewing user data to ensure customer satisfaction, building relationships with business stakeholders by understanding needs and adoption strategies, pairing with other product managers and documenting user stories / epics, and working with testing and development teams. A successful candidate will be able to speak to product, the underwriting process within the P&C insurance domain, technology, and agile best practices.
Required Skills
At least 3+ years as a product manager (managing product development) Technical understanding of APIs, data extraction, AI/ML, etc. to be able to communicate requirements that translate business needs into business/tech solutions. P&C experience – underwriting is preferred. Experience working with development and testing teams. Agile experience Experience with Business Rules Engine Self-starter, good communicator, assertive, and can think outside the box.
