Corporate Accountant I or II - Financial Accounting & Analysis - West Omaha - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE! Hemphill has been engaged to fill a very attractive Staff Corporate Accountant position within a successful, profitable, and growing Omaha Company who has a reputation for mentorship and promoting from within. In this role you will work closely with Senior Accountants, Accounting Managers, and the Accounting Leadership Team as they guide your involvement in all facets of the month-end close process, post-close financial analysis, and several engaging projects related to finance and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your education in accounting while learning, growing, and developing a stronger foundation and skill set.
Gain direct experience in all aspects of financial accounting as you’re mentored by accounting and finance leaders who care about, and will proactively invest in your developmentYour scope of responsibility will include financial accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly budget vs. actual analysisContribute individually and as part of a team as you’re involved in special projects related financial systems, process improvement initiatives, and other annual projects related to inventory, fixed assets, and profitability studiesParticipate in a thorough training program that will ensure you’re feeling confident and well prepared to have success
