Hemphill has been exclusively engaged by a mid-sized, steadily growing Omaha-based company to help them select and hire a Staff Accountant to join their team in a dynamic and engaging role! This is a great opportunity to work alongside other staff and senior accountants as you learn best practices and develop functional experience.

Your role will not be narrow; instead, you will enjoy a variety of responsibility, such as:Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining journal entries and accruals, calculating depreciation, preparing trial balances, and taking ownership for monthly close activitiesCommunicating with non-accounting leaders as you help them analyze financial trends, costs, and revenues while forecasting future outcomesEnjoy a rich variety of seasonal responsibilities, problem solving initiatives, and special projects that will give you direct exposure to budgeting, variance analysis, inventory and fixed asset reviews, and much more.
