Hemphill is partnering with a mid-sized ($100M+) and highly successful organization to help them identify and select a senior accountant to join their team in an important role.This position has been newly created due to this company’s continued growth and expansion into new regions across the Midwest.
Work directly for the Division Accounting Manager who is an excellent mentor and takes pride in their track record of training, developing, and assisting others to achieve their career goals & desired promotions. In this role, you will also work closely with and be mentored by the Divisional Controller and Corporate Controller while taking responsibility for challenging and fulfilling work.
Take ownership of a broad range of accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, ad hoc analysis, and special projects within the fastest-growing division of the company.Enjoy technically challenging work while consolidating financial statements from several facilities.Review performance while analyzing actual results vs budget / forecasted while determining cause and effect then partner with financial and operational leaders to make changes to improve future outcomes.Leverage your Excel skills as you’re tasked with creating valuable work papers that will help you better analyze results and streamline the close process.
