Staff Accountant - Our client is stable, profitable and in an industry that is near recession proof. Hemphill is helping this team identify a Staff Accountant to join their group in a newly created position due to growth. Join a positive and hardworking team where loyalty and dedication are valued.Primary Responsibilities:Review and approve invoice activity and work with outside vendors to obtain necessary documentsAssist with month-end close process and account reconciliationsWork with purchasing and accounts payable departments to resolve any discrepanciesAudit construction project spending for accuracyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingProficient in Microsoft Office - advanced Excel preferredCommunicate effectively with wide variety of stakeholdersAbility to learn new systems and processesThis position has great work/life balance and most people leave at 4:30pm every day.
