📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Henderson Harbor Group is a premier executive search and consulting firm with deep experience in technology, finance, accounting and tax. We service our clients primarily in the tristate area as well nationally through our AAFA and NPA network.
Our client, a large international law firm, is looking for a Network Operator to join their team. This position will initially be onsite in White Plains, NY for onboarding for approximately six weeks. Following this period, the role will become remote. Must be available to go into the White Plains office for meetings and training, as needed.
Our client has several openings for skilled and experienced Network Operators to join their team in permanent positions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, practical knowledge of Cisco routers and switches from an operational perspective, as well as proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Windows Servers within a fully virtualized environment. The Network Operator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and providing technical support for various IT systems and services.
Compensation: up to $100,000
Workplace Policy: 6 weeks onsite to begin, remote following initial onboarding period
Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management:Configure, monitor, and maintain Cisco Routers and Switches, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityTroubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement necessary corrective actionsCollaborate with the network engineering team to plan and implement network upgrades and improvementsWindows Server Administration:Administer Windows Servers within a virtualized environment, including setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenanceMonitor server health and performance, addressing any issues that arise promptlyTechnical Support:Provide technical support to end-users and internal teams, addressing issues related to network connectivity, Windows Servers, and other IT systems
Qualifications
High school diploma or three years of relevant experience or Military Occupational SpecialtyMinimum of 5 years of related experience
