Their Complex Commercial Litigation group is seeking an associate with 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join their expanding practice in Stamford, Connecticut. The group, consisting of over 100 attorneys, advises clients on a broad range of complex commercial and business litigation matters. Job DescriptionIdeal candidates will have hands-on experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and familiarity with the state and federal courts in Connecticut.Handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, day-to-day case management, and participation in trial preparation. RequirementsPrior experience as a judicial clerk is highly desiredMust be admitted to practice in Connecticut. New York admission is a plus.2-5 years of solid commercial litigation experience (government and internal investigations experience is a plus)Excellent technical, professional and client service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skillsTeam-oriented with an emphasis on collaborationEffective and efficient problem solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
