As part of our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of financial compliance and operational efficiency, we are seeking a skilled Senior IT Auditor with expertise in SOX compliance to join our dynamic team in Stamford, Connecticut Job Description: We are seeking a Senior IT Auditor with specialized knowledge in SOX compliance to lead our IT audit initiatives across multiple locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and evaluating IT controls, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:Lead and execute IT audit projects in alignment with established audit methodologies and standards.Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls related to SOX compliance.Conduct risk assessments and identify control deficiencies, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.Develop audit programs and testing procedures to evaluate IT systems, processes, and controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address control weaknesses and implement remediation plans.Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory developments impacting IT governance and compliance.Prepare clear and concise audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and action plans.Provide guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders on IT audit matters.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certification preferred.5+ years of experience in IT audit, information security, or related roles.Strong understanding of IT controls frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, and ITIL.Experience conducting IT audits in compliance with SOX regulations.Proficiency in conducting technical assessments of IT systems, networks, and applications.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.
