Job Description
Hennepin Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Licensed Alcohol And Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our team under our new SUD programming, Recovery Health Solutions! As a home care provider for 50 years, offering home health and mental health services, we are adding SUD services to provide dual support our community members.
You will be responsible for conducting assessments, implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessmentsDevelop and implement individual treatment plansEstablish treatment goals and milestones with clientsConduct Individual and Group Counseling sessionsEducate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programsSupervision of Peer Recovery Specialists
Qualifications
Active LADC in MinnesotaPrevious experience in drug and alcohol counselingAble to pass a DHS licensed background studyCompassionate and caring demeanorAbility to build rapport with diverse group of clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer literacy, able to navigate and use EMR system
