Electrical Engineer

This opportunity is a hybrid position located in Washington, DC with relocation assistance offered.

Salary range of $100,000 to $145,000. **This will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, location and licenses held. **

Job Description: Collaborate extensively with clients and various project stakeholders including architects, engineers, and design teams.Develop comprehensive and cohesive design deliverables such as detailed drawings, electronic models, specifications, reports, site observations, and schedules across diverse electrical projects. Facilitate coordination with utility providers and secure necessary electrical approvals.Prepare and organize technical and financial proposals for new work opportunities.Manage the workload of project discipline engineers and technicians, ensuring quality control.Champion the development of initial engineering solutions and translate them into detailed designs.Craft technical specifications for projects.Track and monitor the financial performance of assigned projects.Maintain clear communication with senior staff, keeping them apprised of critical service/design decisions and ensuring client objectives are met.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior electrical engineers.Continuously uphold practices, policies, strategies, and services that prioritize the client's best interests, adhering to current legislation and relevant state building codes.Effectively manage personal workload to meet deadlines aligned with client commitments. Proactively address workload concerns and potential deadline risks.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the project team's workload and commitments to ensure successful achievement of deadlines and balanced resource allocation.Contribute actively to project profitability within established financial parameters.Monitor financial performance of projects, including establishing and managing project administrative systems. This encompasses planning and overseeing project resourcing and expenditures, with adjustments made as necessary.

Qualifications:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or relative field8+ yrs experience of electrical engineering design in the building services and construction industryExperience in industrial/commercial projects such as : Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs and/or StadiumsP.E (Professional Engineer) License preferred LEED AP accredited preferredExperience using RevitFamiliarity using computational analysis tools such as electrical fault analysis and lighting design software
