Technical Cutting Tool Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Cutting Tool Support Specialist to provide expert technical assistance, shaping the future of machining processes.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support related to our cutting tool products.Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting issues, optimizing tool performance, and recommending solutions.Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper use, maintenance, and care of our cutting tool products.Collaborate with our sales team to identify opportunities for product improvement or customization based on customer feedback and needs.Document customer interactions, including inquiries, issues, and resolutions, in our CRM system to track trends and provide feedback to the engineering team.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, machining technologies, and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the cutting tool industry.Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling applications, and CNC programming.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers of varying technical backgrounds.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer inquiries and tasks simultaneously.Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support as needed.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software; specific systems knowledge a plus.Being bilingual in English and Spanish would be considered an advantage.
