Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Setting up a CMDB process comprising analysis, plan, design and implement phase.Manage all customer CMDB’s end to end and run scheduled report outs. Provide configuration management support to multiple IT projects simultaneously. Possess comprehensive knowledge of the configuration management field and ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. Must have experience in implementing and using configuration management for multi-environment IT applications. Ability to implement and work on various IT Infra & Application using ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping is a prerequisite. Having deep knowledge of Business Service Maps and configure Availability reporting is a mustAbility to engage customers and operation teams to resolve root cause issues in a positive, non-adversarial manner. Demonstrate proven leadership skills, be an independent performer and be able to deliver with minimal or no supervision. Should have experience in describing provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions. Deep analytical skills to understand complex procedural problems, identify root causes and provide solutions.

Analysis skills: Ability to evaluate the current environment, gather needs, and propose a recommended CM(Config Mgmt) solutionDesign/architect skills: Ability to define and design CM standards for the technologyCM process skills: Ability to define manageable CM processes (check-out/check-in, merge, build, release, etc.) and implement themScripting skills: Ability to automate major processesBasic networking skills: Knowledge of Infrastructure / Networking, Networking Protocols, WMI, Subnet masks, SNMP etc.Customer service and communication skills: Ability to work graciously with users while resolving their issuesTraining and facilitation skills: Ability to prepare CM technology and process training for users and the ability to deliver the training effectively.

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field (computer science, engineering)Experience level minimum of 3 yearsSpecialized certifications a plus

USD Annual Salary: $87,000.00 - $200,500.00
