Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Our client has been operating for over 5 years. They are a highly sophisticated real estate private equity platform. They invest as a GP & LP and have successfully acquired 17 investments totaling approximately $2.5 billion of invested equity and over $6.0 billion of total projected capitalization. The investments include joint ventures with local, national, and international partners for office, residential, hospitality, life sciences, logistics, and student housing assets.

POSITION OVERVIEWThis individual will join the Finance and Accounting team, which is comprised of the Managing Director of Finance and Accounting, a Finance Manager, and a Corporate Accounting Manager. This position will report directly to the Managing Director but will work closely with the Finance Manager. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of all asset level financial and non-financial reporting and will work closely with individuals from the European office to collaborate on all financial reporting needs within each asset’s structure. As the Finance and Accounting team is small, this individual can expect to be included in a large variety of accounting and finance functions.

Specific job functions include:Review asset-level monthly reporting as prepared by property managers and sponsorsPrepare monthly asset reports to meet investor specific requirementsMonitor development cost activity in comparison to approved budgets and business plansPrepare quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRSAssist in the compilation of quarterly investor reportsAssist in the preparation and delivery of capital call and distribution notices and track the equity position for each asset and structureMaintain financial reporting KPI database and develop efficiencies in the processMaintain internal firm data used for reporting key performance metricsCoordinate with the investments team on the monitoring of leasing and other activity within the portfolio
