Personal Injury ParalegalOur client is a busy, friendly Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm in Beverly Hills, California looking for a personal injury paralegal with 1-4 years of experience. Candidate must be able to work independently and under tight deadlines. A successful candidate desires a long-term, stable and rewarding position with a firm that appreciates their skills and relies on the outstanding quality of their work.Salary: 80,000-110,000Job responsibilities include:Interface directly with clients to discuss their case details, including obtaining HIPAA releases, getting information needed for Plaintiff document productionsCommunicating with clients on case progressOrdering medical records and coordinating with third party vendors for document retrieval / collection from clients' social media, cell phones, email, etc.Maintain attorney calendars and schedules; working with court staff to obtain hearing dates and trial schedulesSupport attorneys in case workup and ongoing processes towards trialDraft documents such as pleadings, discovery demands and correspondencePrepare responsive production documents for discovery or subpoena requestsElectronically file/e-service of pleadings and discoverySummarize records and reports such as depositions, medical records, internal documents and incoming discoveryObtain, review and analyze documents, including medical recordsPrepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness filesCompile evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries and databasesThis position is full timeWhat the Law Firm is Looking for in the Candidate:Litigation paralegal: with 1 to 4 years experience, preferably with a Plaintiff's Personal Injury PracticeAbility to work with minimal supervisionBenefits: medical, dental and vision insurance, sick leave, paid vacation, moreInterested candidates please send resume in Word format Please reference job code 38473 when responding to this ad.
