📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Hire UP Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical Claims Examiner for well established client in Fresno, CA. This position is temp to hire with the hours being Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, with the pay ranging up to $22 an hour.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.Minimum 3 years of experience processing medical claims in a computerized environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Maintain multiple groups- Process CMS-1500 claims- Process UB-04 claims- Process high-dollar claims- Process JAA/BlueCard claims- Interpret group SPD’s and apply benefits- Zero dollar adjustments- Maintain various reports- Review/create/process FOGBUGZ cases- Access Anthem Blue Cross website for inquiries- Batch/Scan correspondence- Access email for department communication- Track and work spreadsheets for special projects- Maintain confidentiality
