Tax Accounting Manager- $130-$140k

Manage all aspects of U.S. federal and state tax compliance, ensuring timely submission of tax returns.

Coordinate with external tax service providers to ensure accurate preparation and submission of the firm’s income tax documents.

Administer a variety of state and local tax responsibilities, including but not limited to, sales/use tax, personal property tax, and gross receipts tax.

Conduct thorough research on national and state-specific tax issues using resources such as the IRS Tax Code, Tax Treaties, and other relevant guides. Handle inquiries from tax authorities, manage tax audits, and maintain effective communication with governmental tax agencies.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation to support and clarify tax-related matters.

Facilitate communication between partners and tax consultants to address and resolve partners’ tax issues.

Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and development.

Design and implement sophisticated spreadsheet-based tools for business analysis and management reporting purposes.

Assume responsibility for additional accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Provide administrative support whenever necessary.
