What You Will Be Doing
Utilize product requirements to craft functional, innovative, and user-friendly web pages and reusable controls. Take the lead in translating intricate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design. Develop and implement the proposed solutions. Revamp existing solutions for improved reusability and scalability. Facilitate or participate in product and technical discussions regarding the application of existing or new technology to support business goals. Generate design documents, code, and unit/functional tests, as well as enhancements, modifications, and fixes for existing code. Justify and defend design decisions. Identify areas for further improvement and refinement of standards, processes, and systems.
What You Will Need
3-5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Data Science/Information Systems Proficient in programming fundamentals, design patterns, data structures, object-oriented design principles, unit testing, and modern version control workflows Strong expertise in React, Angular, Vue, or other UI frameworks Thorough understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with Node.js Familiarity with CSS, CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS), and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation Experience developing responsive web applications that interact with RESTful APIs Knowledge and hands-on experience with Git and Jira Proficiency in applying modern Agile Software Development practices Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration, Load, End-to-End) using common testing tools and frameworks Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve critical issues in complex systems within tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to write technical design and build documentation for all aspects of technical infrastructure Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills Understanding and experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments Ability to identify and address technical debt, as well as detect and eliminate code smells early in development and during code review
Nice to Have
Proficiency in developing mobile applications using React Native. Familiarity with Google Analytics and Tag Manager. Knowledge of streaming/messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, and SNS. Experience in developing machine-learning applications using Perl. Proficiency in AWS services like ElasticBeanstalk, CloudFormation, S3, SNS, and Lambda. Experience working with NoSQL database technologies.
