Company Description Historical Arts & Casting, Inc. has been a leading provider of ornamental metalwork for over forty years. Based in West Jordan, Utah, we are involved in the design, manufacturing, and installation of ornamental metalwork in the United States and abroad.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Machinist at Historical Arts & Casting, Inc. Located in West Jordan, UT, the Machinist will be responsible for performing machining operations using manual and CNC machines. The day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating machinery, interpreting blueprints and specifications, inspecting finished products for quality control, and maintaining equipment and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications Experience in operating manual and CNC machines ( Lathes and Mills )Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and specificationsKnowledge of machining techniques and processesAbility to perform quality control inspectionsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and organizational skillsPrior experience in ornamental metalwork is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent2-4 years work experience preferredLift 70+ lbSPerform moderate to heavy physical laborWear respirators and other PPE as requiredSit, stand and operate equipment for long periods of time Pass drug / alcohol tests and participate in a drug free work enviromentPunctualDependableAbility to follow directions and complete assignmentsAptitude to learn new skillsInteract and work well with others7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Thursday ( 4 day work week)Occasional overtime$20-$27 per hour + benefits depending on experience and qualifications.
