Overview
Our Dallas office is seeking a talented Design Professional to join the Architecture team.
An Architecture Design Professional supports project teams using a wide range of developing professional skills. Performs basic design and technical tasks requiring application of standard techniques and knowledge while working under general supervision. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing to contribute creatively to the team.
Responsibilities
Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques, collaborative design computations and procedures as assigned under directionPerforms routine architectural assignments and may have some design responsibility collaborating with other team members as designatedParticipates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplinesDevelop marketing materials, proposals, or presentations to generate new work opportunitiesDevelop final construction plans that include aesthetic representations of the structure or details for its constructionConsult with clients to determine functional or spatial requirements of structuresPlan or design structures such as residences, office buildings, theatres, factories, or other structural properties in accordance with environmental, safety, or other regulationsCreate three-dimensional or interactive representations of designs, using computer-assisted design softwarePlan layouts of structural architectural projects.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or a related field and university-level coursework, internship, thesis/project or one year of work experience involving the following:
architectural software including Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling;Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign graphic software;Sustainability and integrated design; andQA/QC process and building codes.
