We may have the perfect job for you! We are searching for an Irrigation Technician. This is a full-time career opportunity with an established company that has been in business for more than 50 years in Oklahoma City.
$18.50 Hr. - Mon-Fri. Work Schedule 7AM-3:30PM – When necessary, the position may require work on weekends and holidays and are subject to change based on the duties of the position and business needs.
Function: The right candidate must have previous on the job experience and is primarily responsible to:
Install and test current irrigation equipment and componentsDiagnose problems, troubleshoot equipment malfunctionsPerform field turf maintenance and any related maintenance and repair tasksOperate equipment and utilize hand tools necessary to install and/or repair irrigation componentsProgram and maintain current automated systemsAssist with work assignments and aid in the completion of required tasks.Complete daily activity reports and inspection forms.

Knowledge and skill in maintaining large-scale turf fields and campus landscapingKnowledge of electronically controlled irrigation systems and programming functionsKnowledge of the installation and operation of irrigation systems and componentsKnowledge of work methods, tools, equipment, and materials used to maintain and repair irrigation systems and componentsSkill in maintaining records of the installation and maintenance of irrigation systemsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to prioritize and delegate work assignments efficientlyAbility to work both independently and with othersPossession of a valid driver license (Operator)
