About The Role

Manage all aspects of the rail movement of coal ash from the Dominion Chesterfield station to the material final destination. Ensure the movement of 1.2 million tons of coal ash annually through management of a fleet of 600 railcars. Monitor CSX activity to ensure all contractual requirements are upheld and prevent demurrage or other unwarranted costs.

What You'll Be Doing

Oversees day to day railroad logistics of the Dominion coal ash project.Coordinates with end users at multiple sites to prevent oversupply and logistic backlogsCoordinates rail inspection and maintenance at the Chesterfield StationCoordinates railcar inspections and maintenance activitiesReports key performance indicators to project managementModifies and communicates changes to delivery schedules in response to scheduled and unscheduled site maintenanceKey contact for shipment issuesOther duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

Education: Associate's degree or 5 years equivalent experience

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Required Work Experience: 5-10 years rail experience; 3 years logistics/supply chain experience

Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge; SAP; Microsoft Office

Travel Requirements: 10%
