Master Truck Service Technician

Holt Truck Centers is seeking a Master Truck Service Technician for our Irving, TX location. This position will provide exceptional customer service while inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance to trucks, trailers, and attachments for on-highway vehicles. Previous leadership experience is a plus. A Class A or B CDL is preferred but not required. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for those qualified.

Essential Functions:Troubleshoots and repairs on-highway trucks both CAT and OEMTroubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failuresTravels to and from the job site and travels to retrieve partsListens and understands customer complaints, quotes and explains repair costs, and schedules appointments with customers while providing clear communicationsPerforms major engine repairs and related equipment repairsProvides quality control/assurance inspections of completed tasksPrepares required documentation needed to complete repair ordersPerforms Failure Analysis of failed engine componentsOrders parts needed to complete repairsCompletes and files documentation necessary to justify billingResponds to customer needs after hours when neededMaintains a P Factor of 120% or greaterMaintains less than .25% rework for years total salesProvides training and mentoring to junior techniciansWorks safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assigned

The hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We also offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.
