About Our CompanyHome Care Powered by AUAF is a fast growing, non-profit organization providing non-medical, in-home services for over 30 years. Our mission is to provide quality, in-home service that will allow seniors to live comfortably and independently in the familiarity of their own home.
About the PositionThe Public Relations Associate is the face of the agency. The associate will be responsible for collaborating to develop and execute strategic public relations activities for the organization. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position reports to the Public Relations Team Lead.
ResponsibilitiesProvide outstanding customer serviceProviding customers with important information about the organization and the programSupports the Marketing team in creating and executing a Community relations strategy, partnering with offices, associations and other local organizationsDevelops and maintains relationships with clients within the Hispanic community leadersRegularly attend events and meetings and ensure that relevant information is being sharedGenerate ideas and plans how to expand and spread the word within the Hispanic community.Engage with local Hispanic authoritiesMeasure the effectiveness of communications efforts, establishing benchmarks and using analytics to inform decisionsFollow all IDoA and AUAF policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned
QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GEDA minimum 2 years of experience as PR; or Communications related in the fieldAuthorized to work in the United StatesPass state required background checksFluency in SpanishPreferredCollege degree or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of health care/home care industry
