About The Role
Be part of a team that manufactures engineering parts, tooling, and test equipment for the Honeywell Glendale facility. You will work in a small prototype machine shop manufacturing parts from drawings and models prepared by engineering. Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Support the development of new engineering parts using both state of the art software/machines along with conventional mills and lathes.Drive improvements in a challenging environment.
U.s. Person Requirements
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 10 years of experience using mills and lathes.Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand tolerances.Ability to layout the required steps to manufacture parts that require multiple machining setups.Experience using tight tolerance measurement equipment.Experience using CAM/CAD software.
