Lead Project Engr

Be the leader of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance for multiple parallel projects, working closely with Project Engineers from other groups and the Program Managers. You will partner with the technical resource managers, assist with staffing, and be the primary focal for program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination and escalation. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. The Platforms Center-of-Excellent Engineering team includes diverse Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and FPGA/ASIC teams and you will coordinate all of them with our customer programs.

Key Responsibilities

Project planning, status, execution, and escalationDrive clear communications between Technical leadersOptimize the team through procedural improvements and automationsDriving HW/SW quotation estimate efforts and approvalsFacilitating various teams to solutions and agreementDrive and improve project engineering practices for Hardware & Software groupsProcess champion: project-specific operating systems and larger reuse and multi-project considerationsMentoring junior engineers
