Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a R&D Materials Scientist/Engineer for our Golden Valley, MN location.

Your Role Will Include

Conduct research and development activities in the field of materials scienceDesign and conduct experiments investigating key material properties and performance in processes / applications such as welding, brazing, soldering, plating, joinery, interfaces, metal additive manufacturing.Analyze data and present findings to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology advancementsStay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as material science, engineering, physics, chemistry, are related fieldMinimum 2 years combined experience in one or more of the following: metallurgical science, welding or brazing applications, additive manufacturing, surface characterization or modificationStrong background in materials characterization techniques and analysisU.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
