Responsibilities

Be part of highly functioning technical teams assigned to development programs ranging from small to large with a wide range of complexityDevelop Code/software requirements developments, software architecture, and software integration/testingTroubleshoot current software interfaces and performance problemsAssist in coordinating engineering review activities associated with code review, PDR and CDR milestonesAssist in software integration and verification activitiesAble to work with a diverse/global group of team members who could be geographically distributedClearly present the software development status with accurate facts & figuresInterface with management, stakeholders outside of their CoE, Customer Engineering Leads (CEL) as well as Project Engineering for their program/product and other PEs/LSEs within CoE associated with their program/productTravel: up to 25% (US/International)Hybrid work scheduleReports to: Sr Engineering ManagerRelocation support may be provided

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status

Must be a US Citizen or a GC holder

MUST HAVE

1+ years of combined software product engineering development experience as a technical solution developerBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering2 years of avionics platform software engineering experienceExperience working with C/C++Experience working with customers on Software requirementsBackground in Systems design and development Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools Private Pilot License and Flight experience Experience with functional decomposition ARP4754 process knowledgeKnowledge about EPIC platform and applicationsSix Sigma Greenbelt certificationExcellent communication skills
