📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're working with a well established PE firm to find a Controller to lead the finance and accounting function for a recently acquired portfolio company that sits in the healthcare services space. This will be the lead accounting role and report into a VP Finance as they look to scale considerably over the coming years, with targets of doubling EBITDA in the short-term, via a mix of organic and acquisitive strategy.
This role will be focused on leading accounting operations, taking a relatively unsophisticated function and bringing it to GAAP standards, implementing a new accounting system alongside leading accounting integrations for new acquisitions. It will be managing a small but growing team and bring accounting expertise and experience to the business.
About you:Must be coming from an accounting leadership role with responsibility for managing a team of 4+Have previously held responsibility for audit deliverablesExperience of owning an ERP system and, ideally, implementation experienceExperience of building scalable processes and a robust accounting control environmentPreferably have experience of integrating acquired companies and teams
