📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A real estate asset manager is searching for a Senior Accountant, Property to maintain and manage accurate financials for a portfolio of their properties. Reporting to the Head of Property Accounting, you’ll support property and asset managers in reviewing and preparing monthly variance reports, and Tenant Billing reports. You’ll also monitor the AR & AP process, and provide support for upcoming accounting projects.
The company has experienced huge amounts of growth over the past year and are in the process of scaling further. The Property Accounting team and overall company are extremely collaborative, and there’s room for upward mobility/career advancement.
Note this opportunity requires you to work a minimum of 3 days a week out of their Hoboken, NJ office location. GrubHub lunch provided to all employees on Tuesdays!
Desired Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of property accounting - open to asset class. Stable backgrounds preferredUpbeat and positive attitude; willingness to learn/collaborate Strong use of Yardi, as well as Excel (i.e. V-lookups, Pivot tables, sum-ifs)
