Senior Manager, M&A Integrations

Overview:We are in search of a Senior Manager of M&A Integration who possesses a passion for M&A transactions and exemplary project management skills. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the seamless coordination of all parties involved in the M&A integration process, including the deal, due diligence, and accounting teams. Your primary responsibilities will encompass onboarding newly acquired entities onto our finance tech stack, orchestrating audit and financial disclosure processes, and continuously refining the onboarding procedures for enhanced efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with all stakeholders throughout the M&A integration process to devise and execute a comprehensive onboarding plan for finance and accounting operations post-acquisition.Partner with the diligence team to assess talent and develop a resource plan, evaluate accounting recognition policies, update pro forma historic financials, and negotiate working capital true-up.Liaise with the Controller team to ensure compliance with ASC 805 valuation requirements, coordinating with third-party valuation firms within 90 days post-acquisition.Oversee the preparation of opening balance sheets and provide all necessary deal-related support to auditors, managing their review process and addressing comments within 120 days post-acquisition.Proactively identify opportunities for strategic enhancements to the onboarding process and advocate for continuous improvements.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Extensive experience in M&A transactions and project management within a corporate or consulting environment.Proficiency in technical accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, including ASC 805.Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Adaptable mindset with a keen eye for process optimization and improvement.
