Job Overview

A Project Manager collaborates with Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. They also ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope.

A Day In The Life

Technical ability to interpret customer specifications and provide a design which meets all requirements, especially quality and scheduleResponsible for ensuring a quality drawing package is released to manufacturingReview BOM’s, maintain schedules, and review QC formsFacilitate and lead detailed project meetings and internal discussionsRecognize a need for and champion areas for product and process improvementsEffectively problem solve project issues, make sound decisions, and provide timely customer solutionsResponsible for managing larger volumes of standard projects or a variety of complex, non-standard projectsAssist as appropriate in the development of project estimates and ensures the implementation of strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed business requirements and customer expectationsMentor others in project management processes, tools, and interpersonal skills to ensure successful project completionWork safely in and around energized electrical enclosuresCustomer visits (travel approximately 10% of the time)

Bachelors Degree in Engineering related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education/job experience may be consideredStrong Project Management experience in either Industrial or Manufacturing fieldsUnderstanding of Bill of MaterialsExperience reading schematics and wiring diagrams preferredAdvanced working knowledge of MS Office SuiteStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven analytical & problem-solving skills
