Bilingual Translator-Proofreader (Spanish/English)

Humana's Marketing and Communications organizations is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Translator-Proofreader that is proficient in Spanish and English to join as a Production Professional 2 on the Translation Team. In this role, you will facilitate translation and proofread a wide range of written projects for external and internal audiences for our Medicaid line of business.

Key Role Functions

Collaborate with internal clients on facilitating translation of written content (i.e. flyers, letters, emails, presentations, etc.)Translate content into Spanish and proofread content translated by third-party vendorsConduct interactions with internal customers and external translation vendors in an efficient, professional mannerPerform detailed work while balancing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and organization skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities are a must to be successful in this role.

Language Proficiency Testing

Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$57,700 - $79,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
