Supply Chain Imports/Exports Coordinator
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an Import/Export Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage international shipping processes, serve as the primary liaison between overseas affiliates, plants, supply chain, and freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with international trade agreements and Customs legislation. You will also support the international team with freight management functions and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:-Operate international shipping processes and resolve problem shipments-Coordinate with overseas affiliates, plants, supply chain, and freight forwarders-Arrange outbound international cargo/freight shipments-Support the international team with freight management functions-Ensure compliance with international trade agreements and Customs legislation-Participate in team meetings and support team members
Qualifications:-Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)-5+ years of related experience in ocean and air export forwarding, import brokerage, or execution of international logistics-Working knowledge of Freight Forwarder or Brokerage Operations-Understanding of IMO forms, hazardous regulations, and SDS Sheets-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)-Ability to multitask and prioritize-SAP and Oracle experience-Knowledge of banking procedures,-Bilingual (preferred)-Hazardous Certification are a plus
