The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a systems-savvy, proactive self-starter who is service-oriented and wants to be part of an evolving Global HR Technology department. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of HCM, Compensation, and Talent Management Systems, this position is responsible for the configuration, support, and maintenance of Hyatt’s PeopleSoft HCM technology, for Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America regions. This includes applications that are used for HR, Talent Management, Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession Planning. The Role

Under limited supervision, this position will focus on day-to-day operations as well as help evaluate and test existing system configurations to provide recommendations to increase efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall usability. In addition, it will be crucial that this person can communicate their findings effectively to HR business partners and help guide them to solutions that are acceptable from both a business and technology perspective.

Provide production support, application maintenance, and documentation for all PeopleSoft v9.2 modules including Core HR, Compensation, Performance & Talent Management within the scope of responsibility.Assist with end-user troubleshooting, including but not limited to researching and resolving system problems, system access issues, unexpected results, or process flaws.Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, and task/process/workflow analysis.Perform hands-on system configuration and development as needed for all PeopleSoft v9.2 modules including Core HR, Compensation, Performance & Talent Management.Troubleshoot and support existing interfaces and integrations with 3rd party applications, coordinating efforts with the Integrations Team as applicable.Develop test plans and perform application testing for configuration or system-related changes.Coordinate module patches, bundles, and upgrades, including testing, documentation, and implementation with all stakeholders.Identify opportunities to improve systems through automation, process re-engineering, and new/improved features.Develop/deliver/maintain end-user training and system documentation as needed.May serve as Project Manager for small projects.Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities.

Qualifications

Experience Required

Minimum 1-2 years of HRIT system support, or 2 years working in HR supporting an HR system.Understanding of HR processesKnowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM a plus

Experience Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceMicrosoft Office proficiency required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.)Experience with a case tracking system such as ServiceNow desiredExcellent interpersonal skills required with a strong customer service orientation.Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a very fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
