Houseperson Overview

As a Housekeeping Houseperson with Waterford Hotel Group, you will have the opportunity to create a clean and inviting lobby and public area for the arrival of our guests . A housekeeping house person is a very important role within the hotel wearing many hats and delivering excellent customer service with a smile.

Responsibilities include

Assisting guests and responding to queries. Cleaning all Public Areas: Lobby, Restaurant & Bar, Restrooms, Elevators, Corridors, etc.Laundry: Washing and folding towels & linens Emptying trash containers . Restock and clean housekeeping closets. Security rounds to ensure guests are abiding by quiet hours and reporting suspicious behavior to front desk. Reporting any technical issues and resolving small maintenance needs.

Job Requirements

If you are interested in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry and have the following skills, we would love to speak with you:

Overnight hours: 10pm - 6am; Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills . P leasant and friendly demeanor. Able to work as a team and independently. Flexible working hours. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Physical mobility and stamina. Must be able to pass a background check Ability to follow instructions.
