📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is a SaaS content management solution provider for K12 and academic institutions - they are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to work on their Azure cloud platform.
100% Remote within the USA - must be located in MST, CST or EST time zones
Responsibilities:Identify and resolve cloud infrastructure issues via Salesforce and Azure DevOps.Develop automation solutions for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.Set up and maintain monitoring with SIEM tools for infrastructure health.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into automation workflows.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resource deployment.Create custom scripts using Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript.Monitor and optimize automated processes for reliability and scalability.Stay updated on cloud automation and DevOps best practices.Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments.
Preferred Experience:Understand enterprise-level business applications for 24x7 support.Knowledge of operational security and defense strategies.Experience troubleshooting web applications.Familiarity with SIEM solutions like Splunk, CrowdStrike and Datadog.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.Containerization with Kubernetes/AKSProficiency in Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript.Understanding of cloud automation frameworks.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Azure certifications are a plus.
