📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary: Support laboratory operations by conducting routine tasks to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization.Essential Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory buffers and solutions, manage inventory, and coordinate purchasing.Conduct daily safety checks, enforce lab safety protocols, and handle hazardous waste disposal.Assist in equipment maintenance, upkeep of lab facilities, and organization of lab spaces.Manage reagent and consumable supplies, coordinate lab access and safety training, and communicate lab usage requirements.Respond to ad-hoc requests, interact with equipment vendors, and maintain reference materials.Perform duties with attention to detail, safety, and efficiency, while communicating effectively and prioritizing tasks.Additional Duties:Assist with clerical tasks and other assigned responsibilities.Qualifications:High school diploma required; related experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to follow instructions, operate lab equipment, and maintain inventory.Proficiency in basic math calculations and familiarity with safety procedures.Knowledge of laboratory safety rules, policies, and procedures.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.Physical ability to work in a lab environment, including standing, lifting
