Product Manager, Clearing Product Development

Overview

Job Purpose

As a Product Manager supporting the ICE Clearing Technology team, you will be responsible for defining the functionality of ICE's post-trade product and service offerings, principally in the futures and options markets. Serving as the primary liaison between stakeholders and a software-development team, you will lead and coordinate the translation of business needs into system requirements for large-scale development projects.

Responsibilities

Communicate with stakeholders in non-technical terms to learn business workflows and needsTranslate business requirements into concise functional requirements that are actionable by the development teamConduct discovery and feedback sessions to accelerate and enhance the quality of requirementsReconcile conflicting requirements among disparate stakeholders Apply pragmatic problem-solving techniques to optimize functionality and time to marketWork with stakeholders and project management to define product roadmapsAdhere to ICE’s SDLC process to ensure project scope and schedules are agreed to by the release team and stakeholdersIdentify and prioritize solutions to production, system-usability and operational issuesRecognize and communicate the impact new systems and features have on existing systemsDemonstrate system features and train end users to adopt the tools developed by the teamMaintain system and end-user documentation, including release notes and guidesQuery and compile data to support management and sales strategic analysisSupport the technical development and quality-assurance efforts

Knowledge And Experience

Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience is required, preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science7+ years’ software product development, business analysis, quality assurance, or related experienceStrong business-writing and excellent communication skills requiredTrading, clearing or banking-industry experience strongly preferredCompetence in data analysis using SQL and Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel)Highly detail-oriented, with keen organizational skills and ability to multi-taskAble to work independently, in a fast-paced environment and within deadline Commitment to customer service and on-time product delivery

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
