Job Summary:As a member of Amtrak’s GIS team, the Senior GIS Analyst will work with the business users and the vendors to implement, enhance, integrate, and support GIS solutions – primarily in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments. The candidate should have significant experience working with the ArcGIS platform and have demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining geospatial datasets, maps, map layers, apps, and dashboards.
Must have skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or GIS with minimum 7 years of relevant experienceAdvanced working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10.x, ArcGIS Pro 3.x and extensions, ArcGIS Online, GPS technology, ETL tools, model builder and related geospatial software toolsExperience managing ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise organization users, content, and roles withinExperience creating, enhancing, and documenting ArcGIS platform best practices and workflows.Experience writing Esri platform integrations that use third party APIs is a plus.Prior railroad experience is a plusAbility to work independently and on multiple projects concurrently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
